A Lifetime in Beauty & Skincare

Hello Friends, As a little girl, I loved to play with my grandmother’s red lipsticks, powder puffs, and perfumes. My fascination with glamour continued into my teenage years with eyeliner, blush, and eye shadow in many colors. However, my skin was not cooperating! It was oily and broke out. I tried everything the drugstore offered and finally went to a dermatologist. Prescription meds worked temporarily but didn’t last. My quest for a solution led me to a beauty store in New York City, where I was introduced to pure Vitamin E. Following the directions, I used it daily after cleansing and toning my face. It worked! It was the turning point as my skin texture improved, and breakouts occurred much less frequently. While it worked for me, I found it did not work for everyone with “problem skin.” I wanted to find out why. So, I attended the Yvonne DeVilar Esthetic Institute and became a licensed esthetician.
